Is Wix good for SEO?
What Wix provides for search visibility, what still needs deliberate work and why platform choice is only one part of SEO.

Wix can support an SEO-friendly business website. It provides controls for page titles, descriptions, indexing, canonical URLs, redirects and structured data, alongside managed hosting and sitemap generation. Those controls do not replace useful content, a clear site structure or authority.
Start with pages that serve a real purpose
Each important service should explain who it helps, the problem it solves and why the business can be trusted. Avoid producing near-duplicate pages for minor keyword or location variations. Strong pages are easier for visitors and search systems to understand.
Use a logical content hierarchy
Navigation, headings and internal links should reflect how subjects relate. Service pages can link to case studies and useful guides; relevant articles should lead readers back to the service. Do not leave valuable knowledge isolated in a chronological blog archive.
Technical settings still need ownership
Write descriptive titles, use one clear H1 and give indexable pages self-referencing canonical URLs. Redirect an old address when a page moves. Check that staging pages, filtered results and duplicates are not accidentally exposed to search engines.
Performance and media matter
Compress images, use appropriate dimensions and remove unnecessary third-party scripts. Visual animation should not delay the main content or make the mobile experience difficult. Alternative text should describe useful imagery rather than repeat keywords.
Platform limits are rarely the first SEO problem
Weak service information, poor internal linking and a lack of evidence usually matter before unusual technical limitations. Measure what is preventing discovery and conversion before commissioning a migration solely “for SEO”.
